    Three friends inside an elevator amid a large storm in Omaha, Nebraska, found themselves trapped as the lift filled with water in a harrowing ordeal they managed to capture on camera. Tony Luu and two friends took an elevator down to the ground floor of his downtown Omaha apartment building to examine the damage from the storm about 10 p.m. Saturday. The group made it to the ground floor of the building when water began rushing in from the lobby.

    After three months, swimming pools are finally about to reopen. Health Minister Chen Shih-chung announced the partial reopening of pools from Aug. 10, to the delight of the industry. There are lots of rules to adhere to, and visitor numbers will be curtailed. But many swimming schools are relieved to reopen at all. We visited one venue to see how they’ll renew their services while staying safe.

    Australian swimmer Emma McKeon is the most successful individual athlete from Tokyo 2020, taking home a haul of 7 medals… made up of four golds and three bronzes. She also became the first female swimmer to achieve this feat in the sport’s Olympics history.

    AND while at it, she broke an Olympic record too… with 23.81 in the 50-meter freestyle. The 27-year-old has now become the most decorated Olympian in Australia’s Olympics history… with 11 medals under her belt.
