Day 11 at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha featured another night of superb swimming! Records were broken as Angelina Kohler won Germany’s first-ever gold medal in women’s swimming. Diogo Ribeiro also made history by winning Portugal’s first-ever gold medal at the World Aquatics Championships!
This was one of the more interesting things I’ve seen happen at a meet of this caliber. Hunter Armstrong and Evangelos Makrygiannis did an accidental lane swap, swam the entire semi-final, and then they just shuffled ’em back around to where they were supposed to be. Wild.
Day 10 at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha saw an electrifying start to the swimming events! Team China secured victory in the men’s 4x100m relay, fueled by Pan Zhanle’s WORLD RECORD-breaking split.
