    This is the 93rd annual Polar Bear Swim in Vancouver, BC. An estimated 2,500 swimmers hit the 44 F water with many cracking open the bubbly in a futile attempt to stay warm.

    A 15 metre high rubber duck has taken to the water in Sydney’s Darling Harbour as part of a rehearsal for a festival at the weekend.

    Its creator Florentijn Hofman explained how he came up with the concept: “We are living on a planet, we are one family, and the global waters are our bathtub, so it joins people.”

    The Coney Island Polar Bears Club held it’s annual New Year’s Day Swim.More than 2000 swimmers dove head first into icy freezing water of the Atlantic Ocean. It’s tradition that goes 110 years.Love crazy people of New York.Temperature is 28 F , or t.-2C.
