Olympic swimmer Jade Neilsen has spoken out about Australian Swimming’s night of shame, accusing three members of the men’s 4x100m freestyle relay team of “inappropriate behaviour” towards her and a female roommate. Read news.com.au

“I will confirm that they were being inappropriate and it was towards (name withheld) and I,” Neilsen said.

“I won’t specifically say (what happened). It has sort of already come out pretty much what they’ve done.

“All I can say is their behaviour was completely inappropriate, it was so inappropriate it was not funny. That is all I can really say about that.”

Now disgraced Olympian Grant Hackett has listed his Melbourne penthouse for $2.7 million as he prepares to divorce his wife and mother of his two children, Candice Alley.

In the latest episode of the ongoing Hackett saga, the expansive three-bedroom apartment in the bustling restaurant district of Southbank was quietly placed on the market by RT Edgar recently.

The swimmer paid $2.755 million for it in the property boom of 2009.

It’s where Alley called police following the Derby Day celebrations in October 2011 after Hackett went on a drunken rampage.

Nick D’Arcy believes his fellow swimmers have to take responsibility for Australia’s disappointment in the London Olympic pool last year rather than blaming coaches and team management.

“Some of things outlined there were designed to be inflammatory more than anything else,” D’Arcy told Triple M radio on Wednesday.

“I think we’re just trying to look for excuses and trying to pass the buck. I certainly didn’t perform the way I would have liked to. I take full personal responsibility for that.”
