Over four decades as a coach at Germantown Academy, Dick Shoulberg sent 16 swimmers to the Olympics, coached U.S. teams, entered two halls of fame, and won five national coaching awards.

On Wednesday, his voice cracked as he struggled to explain why he was abruptly removed from not just a job, but a prominent post in a sport that has defined him.

“I haven’t done anything wrong, other than being 741/2 and looking people in the eye and telling them, ‘You’re wrong,’ ” Shoulberg said in an interview.

Former I’m a Celebrity campmate Rebecca Adlington has revealed she has an anxiety disorder which has caused her to suffer panic attacks.

The retired Olympic swimmer, 24, said the condition related specifically to confined underground spaces, explaining her inability to take part in several Bushtucker Trials.

She told the Daily Mail: “I have an anxiety disorder specific to confined underground spaces, and I’ve had panic attacks in the past.

“I disclosed that in my medical before I went into the jungle.

“We were never aware in advance what the trials were.

“It was up to the doctors to exempt people.

“It really was no big deal.”

So tricky, trying to get the perfect photo of flags in motion. I have a lot more photos, but still guess I’ll have to do a bit of photoshopping.

Life as William Winram must be breathlessly exciting. One day you’re ocean diving (without an oxygen tank) to a world record (145 metres down in three minutes, eight seconds); the next you’re swimming with great white sharks and living to tell the tale. There used to be some big-wave surfing too, but he’s given that up; a man can’t be too careful, you know.
