Joeri Verlinden postpones comeback due to cardiac arrhrythmia
Holland Swimming has the story
Dutch swimmer Joeri Verlinden has been forced to postpone his return to competitive swimming, due to cardiac arrhythmia discovered during a regular medical examination. He stops immediately, will be taking the next few weeks off, and will therefore not participate in the national swim team training camp in Thailand, Januar 11th until February 1st. Verlinden says: ‘This is an incredible disappointment after a very disappointing 2013 of injuries. Recent weeks looked tremendously good to make my comeback next month in swimming. In the coming months I will test and undergo examination to see how it will run further.’

All classes focus on special safety techniques, like the octopus and sea otter floats, treading water, rolling over, and ‘jump, turn and swim to the wall.” For more information, we encourage you to check out our blog post.”
