The sun came out on New Year’s Day for Hornby’s annual Polar Bear Swim. A large crowd gathered at Grassy Point for this exciting community event organized by the Fire Department. This year 100 swimmers took the plunge. That’s 10% of the island’s population! Afterwards there was hot chai and hotdogs for everyone. See you next year!
