Nature throws plenty of challenges at ocean swimmers, but sharks rarely concern Paul Ellercamp.
â€œMost sharks are not a problem,â€ he said. â€œThey’re graceful creatures, generally quite inoffensive and unthreatening, often curious, and when you do see them, often quite stimulating.â€
An avid ocean swimmer, Mr Ellercamp said he had encountered a few sharks during his years of ocean swimming: “Theyâ€™re really not that interested in us. Theyâ€™re busy looking for fish.”
