USA’s Rebecca Mann after winning the women’s 800 freestyle at the FINA / Arena 2012 Swimming World Cup leg in Berlin, Germany, in 8:16.58 ahead of Leah Smith (USA) in 8:17.96 and Lotte Friis (DEN) in 8:22.04, see result list here. Yesterday she broke the 31-year-old 1650 yard freestyle U.S. National Age Group record for 13-14 year olds with a time of 15:54.46, so yes, she certainly deserves a mention :-)
