Ieuan Lloyd qualified also, for for the 4×200 freestyle
Lloyd claimed silver in the 200m freestyle behind Robbie Renwick but his 1:47.68 time was outside the Olympic qualifying standard, meaning his sights will now refocus on June’s second chance trials where he will also try and claim the remaining 400m spot.
But the Penarth teenager has qualified for the 4x 200m relay event and will be in London this summer.
