Maryland Swimming will stay if they raise $11.56 million by June 30

University of Maryland president Wallace Loh announced today that they’ll cut eight sports from its athletics roster, including swimming & diving – but also that the teams each have a chance to save themselves by raising eight years of total costs by June 30. The swimming teams will need to raise $11.56 million, while women’s water polo needs to raise $8.03. Read SwimmingWorld Magazine and see saveumdswimming.org
