A momma bear and cubs found a large tree to scratch on and a clean pool to take a dip in when visiting the backyard of a Monrovia home Monday.

Ayko fell into an above-ground swimming pool Friday morning just before 9 a.m. Emergency crews said he was unresponsive when they arrived. This happened in the 400 block of Elm Avenue.
