The Olympic swim trials for the 2020 games will be held in Omaha, Nebraska June 21st through 28th, just a month before the Olympic Games which start July 25th. BYU senior, Payton Sorenson, hopes to succeed at the trials and become an Olympic swimmer. Payton Sorenson said, “It was always seemed more like a fantasy to me. Japan’s ruling party has decided to give up the idea of introducing daylight saving time during the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, citing difficulties in renovating relevant systems in time for the sports events.
