“Swimming is a great exercise for all ages and body types. It can be especially good for individuals with a chronic illness like multiple sclerosis (MS). The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) has heard some amazing stories from people who exercise in the water while living with MS.

    http://youtu.be/8zalHNQ2ouA

During MSAA’s Why I Swim campaign, you can submit your story, letting us know what it means for you to be in the water. If your story is chosen, it will not only serve as an inspiration to the MS community – it will also be professionally produced. In addition, you’ll receive a personalized training session with an aquatics instructor to customize programs to help reach your personal goals.

Submissions will be accepted until January 2nd, 2014. Visit http://whyiswim.mymsaa.org for details.”

‘The European Short Course Championships are in every way a historic event in Denmark. The pools for the Championships are temporary and recycled from the London 2012 Olympics and the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona. After the European Championships, parts of the pools will once again be recycled – this time as an upgrade of the Herning swimming pool with a new 50 meter pool.’

Now all together, a fun little competition – one length of kicking, all out – where each team has a noodle, and no one is allowed to let go of it. In this case hopelessly unfair, the big boys versus the small boys versus the girls. They still give it a go, though, the little ones.
