The Element tablet by Pantech offers a waterproof design, quick dual-core processor, HDMI output and 4G LTE data. Bad thing is that it is not operable underwater, and not particularly rugged beyond water resistance. EPFL develops full-body sensor suits to improve swimmers’ training

iPhone 5 will possibly be waterproofed with HzO “Waterblock” technology
HzO is said to be in talks with Apple and Samsung about incorporating its “WaterBlock” technology in future devices, such as the iPhone 5. How to plan and execute an underwater swim shoot from start to end
Very informative video here from 2D House, on how they planned and executed their Fstoppers 2011 Behind The Scenes Contest entry, having chosen to make it an underwater swim shoot. Unfortunately they missed the (for a shoot process entry perhaps most vital) submit deadline, and therefore were DQ-ed. But the video is still great :-)
