Read Japan Daily Press Multi-awarded swimmer Kosuke Kitajima shared his thoughts on Tokyo’s bid to host the 2020 Summer Olympics. The 30-year old athlete claims that it’d be a “dream come true” if Tokyo hosts the prestigious sports event following its loss to Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 hosting. Born in Tokyo, Kitajima  believes that the public’s support this time will be favourable for the capital’s bid. “Of course I remember what happened last time, but I don’t think that the public had as much interest in the Olympics coming to Tokyo then as they do now,” he said.
