Indian para-athlete Kanchanmala Pande, who arrived from Berlin after completing Berlin Para Swimming Championships, shared a very shameful and disgusting experience during the visit. The sightless-athlete faced extreme misery to participate in the championship after the money sanctioned by the government failed to reach her and was left with no option than to borrow money from fellow swimmer in Berlin. A young man died after getting into difficulties while swimming in Loch Lomond. Police, ambulance crews and a helicopter were called three miles from the village of Luss after the alarm was raised at about 1.50pm yesterday. Officers confirmed that the body of a man was recovered less than two hours later. It is understood that his death was not being treated as suspicious and he was believed to have drowned.
