My Highest Dive Ever (27 Meters) | Molly Carlson

27 meters. At 27 years old. The highest dive of my life.

Back in January, I announced that before I turned 28, I wanted to stand on top of the tallest permanent diving platform in the world and dive from 27 metersโ€ฆ and you guys definitely held me to it.

In high diving, women typically compete from 20 meters, while the men compete from 27 meters. So this wasnโ€™t about proving that women should compete from this height. It was about seeing what I was capable of, surrounded by the incredible team who helped me prepare my body and mind to do it as safely as possible.

But somewhere along the way, this became about so much more than a dive.
