Léon Marchand remains uncertain for the 400m individual medley at the European Swimming Championships as he continues his recovery from an adductor injury suffered at the French Championships. The four-time Olympic champion is expected to compete in Saint-Denis, but his final programme will depend on his fitness and a further MRI assessment.
Marchand is currently entered for the 200m and 400m individual medley, 200m butterfly and 400m freestyle.
