Bartลomiej Kubkowski reached the beach at Dziwnรณw in northwestern Poland on Sunday following his epic swim of around 160 kilometers.
The Pole, supported by boats that provided food, medical supervision and helped him navigate, had left the Swedish town of Kรฅseberga 55 hours earlier.
Under the rules of the attempt, however, he could not touch the vessels, climb aboard or sleep, and to officially complete the challenge he had to leave the water and stand on the beach without assistance.
Asked how he felt after finally defeating the Baltic, Kubkowski said he was โso exhausted that I donโt know yet.โ
