Experience from University College South Denmark suggest that if exercise is an integral part of an education, fewer fail and more people get high marks. 40 nursing students got the opportunity to exercise 3 times a week during lunch hour, resulting in their overall module 1 grade point average jumping up to 6.51, compared to 4.74 in 2009 and 3.80 in 2010. They say that it is too early to make any firm conclusion, but think that all programs should consider incorporating exercise and sports, as a win for the students but also to society that may have a better and healthier population.
