    In Snyder County a teen was remembered for his energy, his love of racing and swimming.

    Alex Moser, 17, of Milton, was killed in a car crash in 2010.

    On Sunday family and friends honored his memory during the third annual Alex Moser Invitiational Swim Meet at Susquehanna University.

    An attorney has filed a defamation lawsuit against Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation and a local YMCA director on behalf of former swimming coach Ken Stopkotte accused of stealing nearly $17,000 from the YMCA. Stopkotte resigned in August 2010 as head swimming coach at Fishers High School after admitting he falsified swimmers’ times. USA Swimming subsequently banned him for two years. Stopkotte is also known for appearing on 20/20 to say that sexual abuse was a problem in the sport of swimming.
