Japan Wants Missile Defenses to Protect the 2020 Olympics (From North Korea)
When the next Summer Olympics are held in July 2020 in Tokyo, expect to see more than the world’s greatest athletes.
There will also be missiles standing guard.
Japan’s Defense Ministry is considering whether to deploy U.S-made Patriot missile defense interceptors to protect the games.
“To ensure the security of Tokyo, where the Summer Games will open on July 24, the ministry wants to equip the 1st Air Defense Missile Group with PAC-3 MSE interceptors to defend against possible threats such as ballistic missiles, drones and unidentified aircraft,†according to Kyodo News.

Translation difficulties mar Sun Yang’s drug test appeal testimony | ABC News
China’s triple Olympic champion swimmer, Sun Yang, has told sport’s highest judicial body he missed a drug check because testers failed to provide the correct ID and documentation.
The controversial swimmer has also criticised the Australian media for its coverage of his case, as he began his defence before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
