According to police, a woman and her granddaughter found four people burglarizing her home in the 2400 block of Center Drive in Jennings. It’s part of the Ditch the Ditches program and this year it’s getting a new look and mascots. The program is also handing out more than 50,000 free swim passes with the goal of keeping kids out of drainage ditches that can turn deadly if a flash flood hits. “It’s a good program,” said Michael Barth. “It’s been around since I was a kid.”
