Alexey Molchanov set a new absolute freediving world record in Constant Weight Bifins (CWTB), diving to a depth of 129m (423ft) on July 22, 2026, at the AIDA Asian Freediving Cup in Panglao, Bohol, Philippines.
The dive marked the 43rd world record of Alexey’s career and saw him reclaim the CWTB world record by one meter.
