Going Long with Sarah Thomas: The Swimmer Who Did What No One Thought Was Possible | Beyond The Breakers

Sarah Thomas is one of the most accomplished open water swimmers in history. She was the first person to swim the English Channel four times without stopping โ€” 54 hours, non-stop, in open water. She holds the world record for the longest continuous open water swim ever completed, a 104-mile crossing of Lake Champlain. She has conquered the North Channel twice. She has been doing things in the water that nobody had ever done before.

In this conversation, Sarah sits down with Beyond The Breakers founder Craig Lewin to talk about the swims that made history, the role of crew in making them possible, and what she took away from attending Beyond The Breakers last year โ€” even after decades in the sport.
