Former broadcaster Tracy Piggott joined Ireland AM to look back on her remarkable career covering everything from Olympic Games and Grand Slam victories to horse racing and rugby.
Now, the former RTÉ presenter is preparing for an extraordinary challenge: an eight-hour underwater swim across Galway Bay in aid of the charity Sensational Kids.
Tracy first completed the route in 1998, raising money for the John Durcan Leukemia Trust. This time, she’s taking on the challenge once again to support children with additional needs by helping fund vital therapies and assessments through Sensational Kids.
She also reflects on her decades in sports broadcasting, life after television, and the unforgettable moments that shaped her career.
