Alexander Popov’s Epic Gold at Barcelona 2003 | FINA World Championships

Let’s take a look back to one of the most exciting swimming finals from the 2003 edition of the FINA World Championships in Barcelona. Must be watched until the very end! In a tough sprint between Pieter Van Den Hoogenband and Ian Thorpe, King of speed Alexander Popov from Russia managed to touch the wall first in a time of 48.44 winning the Gold Medal in the 100M FREE Final.
