August 3, 2019, a day Ryan Menke will never forget. For Ryan, it was the honor of a lifetime to swim alongside 35 Navy SEALs across New York’s Hudson River to help raise awareness and money for our homeless veteran population. Ryan and Navy Seal, Shannon Rusch, “Team Sharkbait” set out with a goal to raise $10,000 for the event but by the end, the amount of money he raised fell just short of $75,000. In total, the event raised about $200,000.
