See CBS2IOWA Cedar Rapids police say they’re receiving reports of people swimming in the Cedar River. Swimming in the Cedar River is not allowed due to its fast-moving water and debris. Police say the Cedar’s cooler water also put would-be swimmers at an increased risk of shock and hypothermia.
