See GeekologieSnorkeling: it’s like one step away from drowning. But now there’s the Easybreath Snorkeling Mask, a snorkel that lets you breathe through your nose (just like on dry land!) for people who aren’t coordinated enough to only breathe through their mouth.
According to Tribord, the product will be sold in Decathlon stores.

The Swimming Pool Store – Guest Post
With a decline in physical activity and a rise in children attaching themselves to everything from TVs to tablets, it so no wonder that obesity and poor health amongst children is a growing concern. Many parents are worried that their children can easily slip into a habit of laziness and lack of activity, making them less healthy generally and more susceptible to a number of illness and problems that could affect their quality of life.
This in turn has led to pushing them to take part in a number of different physical activities and sports in the hope that they will become fitter and much healthier – bolstered by the Olympics over 85% of children are now taking part in sport, with swimming being the number one choice for 5-10 year olds, beating football by over 10%.

Open Ocean – Time Lapsed Art by Burg Thurston
“Excited to share my second large wave art project; Open Ocean. If you love waves, you’ll know this is the classic wave that all young ocean lovers aspire to scribble in their school books, it depicts perfection and draws you into it’s alluring power.
This painting is based off one of my favourite photos I took in 2013, I had to swim 2km out to sea to an Open Ocean bombie of reef and while I was dodging wild and heavy 10 foot clean up sets, this 6 foot slab creeped through on the inside wrapping flawlessly to the reef platform and exploding into the sky. Still to date one of the best waves i’ve ever seen break with my own eyes..
Thought it’s worthy of being glorified in paint..”

Cate Campbell dominates Australian swimming awards
Nothing can break Cate Campbell’s spirit and that is why she is now the toast and face of the Australian swim team.
Capping what has been a remarkable career fight back, Campbell last night dominated Swimming Australia’s awards night, named swimmer of the year, people’s choice and swimmer’s swimmer for 2013.
Campbell beat fellow world champions James Magnussen and Christian Sprenger for the major awards proving she is now the most respected and loved swimmer within the team and by the Australian public.
Australians love a fighter and Campbell has overcome more adversity than most, beating glandular fever, post-viral fatigue, hip injuries, pancreatitis and a broken arm during her short career.
