  • Pentagon developing impulse gun to make swimmers puke mid-stroke

    According to Wired, publicIntelligence.org leaked a U.S. Department of Defence “Non-Lethal Weapons Reference Book” online last week, that amongst other thinks mentions an “Impulse Swimmer Gun” that uses “pulsed sound waves” to cause “auditory impairment and/or nausea” among scuba divers engaged in “unauthorized underwater activities”.   • UT fires longtime head swim coach for “gross misconduct”

    University of Tennessee Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics Dave Hart announced Tuesday that head men’s swimming and diving coach John Trembley has been relieved of his duties.
