The tattoo gives it away, this must be Serbia’s Ivan Lendjer celebrating after clocking fastest time in the first semifinal of the men’s 100 butterfly at the LEN 2009 European Short Course Championships in Istanbul, Turkey. He ended up winning bronze the day after, see result list here

OK, so I’m not 100% sure this is French swimmer Sophie de Ronchi, but the face and ring and necklace fits, and the event could very well be when she (Sophie de Ronchi) won bronze in the women’s 200 IM at the Rijeka 2008 European Short Course Championships. See result list here

Great Britain’s Hannah Miley in the Szczecin 2011 European Short Course Championships pool, I guess after the women’s 200 individual medley prelims. She ended up winning bronze in the event, plus a silver in the women’s 400 IM. Today she set a new European record in the 400 IM :-)
