Award-winning short film director Adam Strange was killed by a great white shark off the coast of New Zealand today, at Muriwai, a popular surfing beach near Auckland. Mr Strange, who has worked across the world, has made television commercials for companies such as Pepsi, Toyota and Samsung, and won a Crystal Bear award for best short film at the 2009 Berlin Film Festival, according to his company’s website.
