Officer Edward Butterworth of the Norristown Police Department in Pennsylvania was patrolling Riverfront Park when he saw the pickup truck enter the water. He and other officers got as close as they could to the vehicle, but after learning one of the passengers couldn’t swim, the officer realized he had to go and get her.
