Eleven people drowned after being swept into the sea off Zhangzhou City in east China’s Fujian Province, while six others survived after being rescued and are in a stable condition.
The incident occurred at a beach near Jiangkou Village in Zhangzhou’s Zhangpu County on Saturday afternoon.
