16-Year-Old Maryland Student Who Died in School Shooting Loved Swimming

The 16-year-old student shot in the head at Great Mills High School in Maryland is being remembered for her love of swimming, snow and her family. Jaelynn Willey died late Thursday night, hours after her mother, Melissa Willey, announced that she would be taken off life support, saying, “She is brain dead and has nothing, no life left in her.” Willey was one of nine children and the second-oldest.
