To raise awareness and honor families that have lost a loved one in service to our country, former Navy SEAL Chris Ring decided to swim the entire length of the Mississippi River. It took him 181 days to swim all 2,320 miles of the river, and in doing so he became the first American to accomplish the feat. Here’s how he did it.
