State Insurance and Swimming New Zealand today announced the conclusion of their successful partnership.

Roger Wallace, General Manager for State Insurance, said the decision follows a rewarding four-year partnership that has helped tens of thousands of Kiwis to stay safe in the water. The announcement follows a review of State’s sponsorship and community engagement activity.

Roger Wallace said: “State is moving in a different direction with its sponsorship strategy. However, this is no reflection on the quality and success of our sponsorship with Swimming New Zealand.

“We’re extremely proud of what’s been achieved during our partnership with Swimming New Zealand. At an elite level, Swimming New Zealand has done tremendously well on the international stage, most recently with Olympic athlete Lauren Boyle winning three medals at the FINA World Championships in Barcelona. State is also proud to have been a major sponsor of the AquaBlacks.
