Swimming: Not enough evidence of the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) changing behaviour towards swimming. Sport England has given a further one-year investment of Â£3.5m to help the ASA increase the number of people who swim regularly.
Sport England Chief Executive, Jennie Price, says: â€œThere are some tough messages here for national governing bodies. If they donâ€™t grow participation we will reduce their funding, and we wonâ€™t make long term investments until we have confidence in their ability to deliver.
