The Danish Swimming Federation announces now that they have received confirmation from FINA, that their men’s 4×200 freestyle relay will be invited to participate at the London 2012 Olympics. You might remember the exciting relay at the Danish Trials, where Mads Glรยฆsner, Daniel Skaaning, Anders Lie and Pรยกl Joensen had to swim faster than 7:15:65 (12th best from Shanghai 2012), and Pรยกl blazed to a finishing 1:47.79, team clocking 7:15.38. Daniel and Anders are relay-only swimmers, so they must be pretty happy now, over in Flagstaff :-)
