Behold, Guinness sponsors world’s first deep-sea bar
Celebrating the Irish brewery’s 250th anniversay, Guinness had a submarine stationed in Stockholm’s harbor refitted with fancy lights and decor, and held a contest for to people to enjoy their stout at depths never before experienced. Guinness also celebrated by signing an incredible 9,000 year lease on its brewing property(!). Via DailyTech.

Norwegian swimmers struck by strike
Returning from the Debrecen 2012 European Swimming Championships, coach Finn Zachariassen and swimmer Sindri Þór Jakobsson came to closed doors at their Bergen base, all municipality swimming pools closed because of strike. This is of course a major crisis, with Jakobsson vying for an Olympic spot at the Dutch Open in Amsterdam in two weeks.…
