Chinese Nationals: 15-year-old Xin Xin posts 8:22.75 in the 800 free

Ouch, at the Chinese Long Course Nationals today, 15-year-old Xin Xin posted a second in the world ranked 8:22.76 in the women’s 800 freestyle, easily clearing the FINA A cut standard of 8:33.84, with Shao Yiwen also qualifying for the Olympics in 8:29.49. Sun Ye and Ji Liping qualified in the women’s 400 IM in 2:24.54 and 2:26.79 respectively, and Wang Shijia and Tang Yi in the women’s 200 freestyle in 1:57.26 and 1:57.74.
