With two days gone at the 2011 Canadian World Trials, Julia Wilkinson has set the only national record until now, with a 28.13 in the 50 backstroke on day 1. She didn’t qualify for the World Championships in that event, as Canadians don’t allow swimmers to qualify in non-Olympic events, but then qualified in 100 freestyle on day 2 by winning the event in 54.93.
