Columbus Fire & EMS responders are continuing to search the Chattahoochee River for a possible drowning victim, Columbus Fire & EMS Battalion Chief Bryan Watson said. The incident was reported to the agency around 5 p.m. June 29, 2021

The 19-year-old went missing in South Boston’s Pleasure Bay earlier in the day as family members and onlookers watched helplessly.

It was shortly after 12 p.m. on Wednesday when rescue crews began looking for the swimmer.

The man who drowned after jumping off a bridge in Scituate Tuesday has been identified as 29-year-old Jhon Michel of Brockton. CBSN Boston’s Ken MacLeod reports.
