Russia Sets 4×100 Medley WR

Russia’s Stanislav Donets and Arkady Vyatchanin both won gold and set a new world record in the 100 backstroke final of the 2009 European Short Course Championships in Istanbul, with a time of 48.97, where Vyatchanin’s world record from the day before was 49.17.

Hungary’s Daniel Guyrta crushed the 200 meter short course breaststroke world record, on the 4th day of the 2009 European Short Course Championships in Istanbul, with a time of 2:00.67, where Australia’s Christian Sprenger’s world record was 2:01.98.
