Hong Kong swimmer Siobhan Haughey appears unstoppable. She won two silver medals at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, and in 2024, gold at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha. Haughey started swimming at the age of four and trains five to six hours a day in the water. She admits that at one point in her career, she questioned whether all the effort was worth it. In this episode of Listen to Her, Haughey returns to visit her secondary school and swimming club. To mark International Women’s Day, she opens up about her childhood in Hong Kong and how she became a role model for girls and women across generations.
