The Oregon Zoo calls it “bear conditioning” when resident black bear Takoda took a dip in some refreshing water. Much of the Pacific Northwest is under an excessive heat warning and the temperature in Portland reached 114 degrees, but Takoda can stand the heat as long as he’s in his little pool. In California, an adult black bear and three cubs hit the sand at Lake Tahoe and scared the heck out of the humans. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
