Americans are flocking to the beach to cool off as an unprecedented heat wave sweeps the nation. But beware: sharks are out in droves. Beachgoers in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, got quite the scare when a shark took down a seal close to shore. Near San Francisco, a 35-year-old man was attacked by a great white shark before managing to swim to shore with a bitten leg. People aren’t the only species looking to cool off – a family of bears was spotted taking a dip in Lake Tahoe right next to some humans.
