  2. At the 2013 Australian Short Course Championships, Jacob won gold in the 50-meter and 100-meter multi-class freestyle events, coming within a hair of the S13 world records in both. This performance drew the attention of the Australian selection committee.

  3. I suppose it’s a little less difficult, particularly for the 50-yard freestyle, where there are no questions asked and simply a lot of splashes and not a lot of stamina required. However, there is a small amount of anxiety that you must get everything correctly or it’s game over.
